Leora Beach Apartments

Leora Beach Apartments is a resort built only in 2010 and comprises three houses on a U-shape, situated directly on the beach. The apartments have a particularly high-quality interior and benefit from direct sea views to the open sea.

A large infinity pool surrounded by sun loungers offers guests a true holiday feeling. The right side of the pool is suitable and safely for non-swimmers and children. Outside there are several sheltered seating and plenty of sun umbrellas. The sea is only a few meters away. The beach directly in front of Leora is more suitable for snorkelling, however you can swim in about 50-100m to the left.

This private resort gives a particular highlight on excellent service. A concierge is on site every day and takes care of the welfare of the guests.

Location
As it is conveniently located in the midst of Tamarin, Leora Beach is an ideal starting point for exploring the island. Since most of the sceneries are in the centre and the south-western part of the island, these are only a very short drive away.

The resort is built directly on the beach in a residential area. To the right, about 500 meters away is Tamarin Bay and since there is no reef, during winter months, here you will find many surfers riding giant waves. Right in front of Leora, however there is a reef, so you can swim without any worries. If you go to the left, you will find some beautiful sandy beaches and if you stroll along the coast you can reach La Preneuse beach.

The west coast has some surprises for the guests, whether you watch the dolphin swimming early in the morning or enjoy stunning sundowns.
A day here is a day like no other. The capital of Port Louis is about 25 km drive and it is really worth a visit.

Hikers looking for a peaceful outing should not miss the nearby Black River National Park, where you can hike for kilometres and enjoy the unique natural environment.

Flic en Flac is a popular tourist destination located about 15 minutes drive. Here you will find several restaurants and bars. Moreover, the beach of Flic en Flac is a tourist attraction for all ages.

Gastronomy
The apartments are well equipped for a self-catering holiday. Upon arrival, besides drinks and fresh fruits, you will also find snacks already prepared. Even free tabs coffee are provided for a Nespresso machine.

In Tamarin, about 1-2 km away, there are several large supermarkets where you can find just about anything you can buy in Europe. If not in the mood for cooking, you may book the services of a local Chef for an additional supplement or you may as well ask the maid to cook for you local Creole meals, against a small supplement. Moreover, in Tamarin there is a large variety of restaurants to choose from.

Rooms
The apartments are modern and tastefully decorated in light pastel colours designed to match the rest of the interior. During the design process, special attention was given by the architects to ensure that the apartments have unobstructed sea views. Even the balconies are made of clear glass without borders, so that guests can enjoy the best ocean views even sitting comfortably on the coach.
The resort offers 4 different accommodation categories. These are divided into Beachfront apartments, Premium apartments, Penthouses and Duplex apartments.

The Beachfront apartments are located directly on the beach and offer a direct view to the sea. The apartments are approximately 150 square meters, offering 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) accommodating up to 6 people.

The Premium apartments are located directly behind the pool on an upper level. They benefit from views over the pool and the open sea in the background. Each apartment measuring 135 square meters with enough space for up to 6 people includes 3 bedrooms with one en-suite bathroom and a shared bathroom.

The Penthouse is the largest unit in this resort with 205 square meters. It is located at the top floor and has 3 bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and the other two with a shared bathroom. This apartment is very spacious and particularly striking is the huge terrace with stunning views over the pool, garden and sea.

For longer stays, Duplex apartments are also offered although with no sea view, but with similar high standards. These 240 square meters units include 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and a shared swimming pool.

Generally, all apartments have the same standards, even if the colours and accessories may differ slightly. All kitchens feature the same modern equipment including a Nespresso machine and a large 40" LCD TV. Free W-LAN and TV Satellite are provided, as well as air conditioning in each apartment.
