Plage Bleue is a modern holiday residence, located at the entrance to the village of Trou aux Biches. The complex has both sea facing and garden view apartments with common swimming pool, which are luxuriously decorated with light colors for 'free-mind' holidays.

These units on self-catering basis, with fully equipped kitchen, features 12 apartments and each unit accommodates up to 6 persons. A high class service waiting for you, offers you the freedom of choosing and planning the discovery of Mauritius.

A part of the beach is more rocky, being thus suitable for snorkeling, and only a few meters away the public beach of Trou aux Biches offers the best swimming conditions. Plage Bleue with its modern pool also brings you the long-awaited relaxing time, while watching the blue lagoon in front.

Location

The village of Trou aux Biches is mostly calm, which is suitable for those waiting for this real relaxing time. Other south Africans holiday residences like Bon Azur Apartments and White Oaks Villas are also in the nearby region. About 300 m away this part of Trou aux Biches is more busy, as the public beach starts. Restaurants, shops and the supermarket 'At Popo', all these are found here as well. The region of Grand Bay is around 3 km away of Plage Bleue. This place is perfect for shopping, offering a large choice for restaurants and night life.

Rooms

The 12 air conditioned apartments of about 120-165 sq meters have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all with modern and high standard furniture. King Size Bed and TV with Flat-screen 40, LCD television in Master Bedroom, Queen Size in the 2nd bedroom and twin beds in the 3rd bedroom. All bathroom accessories like hairdryer, large mirrors and luxury fittings are supplied. The modern, fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal, but also an outdoor electric grill found on the balcony or on the terrace. There are also 2 private villas, each of them with its own pool and ensuite bath in each 3 bedrooms unit. Some with beach fronts and others with garden view - a refreshing and lush one.

Services

Housekeeping is made 6 times a week - there are two maids at a time to fully clean the apartment. On Sundays and public holidays an additional cost of Rs 650 will be applied per service if requested by clients. High quality cotton bed-sheets, towels, beach/pool towels are also provided. Clients will be paid a visit by our Concierge Representative the day after arrival to help them plan activities and fine-tune their stay, as well as make arrangements for any other services i.e massage in villa, catering etc. Besides, clients benefit of Wireless free in every apartment, as well as French and English Satellite TV. Bicycles and Kayaks are available as well for an extra charge.

Gastronomy

Each apartment will have a “take out menu” where items may be ordered from local restaurants and delivered at the apartment. This will include local dishes, breakfasts, pizzas and seasonal fresh products, seafood and fruits as well as drinks. For those who prefer outdoor lunch or dinner, Trou aux Biches, Pointe aux Cannoniers and Grand Bay offer a wide choice of restaurants varying from fine to quick foods.

Sports / Entertainment

The north of Mauritius offers a wide choice of activities from water sports to relaxing massage. On the other hand, those who would rather prefer hotels activities can pay a supplement and enjoy daytime or nightly entertainment in any of the pretigious hotels in the north, depending on the season.
