Description of the location:
The place Pereybere is in the north of Mauritius not far from Grand Baie. To the center of Pereybere there are only a few minutes. Pereybere is a former small fisherman village, which now lives more on tourism. However the place has not lost its charm. The people are friendly and always have a smile for the guests. The Bay of Pereybere belongs to one of the favorite beaches of Mauritius.
The small village Bain Boeuf is situated in the north of Pereybere and looks like an overslept fisherman village which invites you to stay with its small supermarkets and restaurants.
Location of accommodation:
The Cape Garden Residence is situated in the small Bain Boeuf on the coastal road directly opposite to the beach. The turquoise water and white fishing boats offer a typical Mauritian image.
The beach:
The beach directly in front of Cape Garden is a wonderful bay with turquoise-blue water.
It is suitable for bathing but for snorkeling it is far better. From the beach you can directly start snorkeling and just after a few meters you can already see the first fishes. Of course there are more to be found further out.
Pleasant shade can be found right on the beach under the umbrellas witch are for rent or under the Filaos trees, directly by the water. Going further north or south you will find many beautiful small bays.
