Domaine des Alizées

Domaine des Alizées is a modern 5-star resort that has just opened in January 2013. The resort offers a great mix of different worlds at the highest level. Firstly, you can choose between apartments with 1, 2 bedrooms and a 3 bedroom Penthouse and on the other hand you can take advantage of a club resort with a huge swimming pool and spa.
The resort is built in an O-shape and has a wonderfull swimming landscape in the middle, with numerous small pavilions, a pool bar and many corners to relax.

Location
Domaine des Alizées is located between Grand Bay and Péreybère about 1km from the beach. Since the resort is not located directly on the beach, the owners offer a payable shuttle service, which runs several times a day to a private beach in Trou aux Biches. Here you can rent sun beds or you may choose to be pampered at the spa. A bar is also available near the beach.
If you don't like the beach in Trou aux Biches, other beaches can also be reached within 10-minutes walk or 2 minutes drive, such as the beach of Grand Bay or Péreybère. Other very popular beaches nearby are the beach of Mont Choisy and La Cuvette. By car all these beaches are accessible within 10 minutes.
During the day you may go shopping in Grand Bay as here you will find plenty of opportunities. At night you have a huge selection of bars and clubs to choose from. You also have very good options in the neighborhood. This accommodation offers ideal conditions for guests who want to cook and they can find everything they need in the nearby supermarket (Super U) in Grand Bay.

Service
The apartments have the standards of a hotel, therefore the units are well maintained and a maid comes daily to clean the rooms. Bed linen and towels are provided and are changed 3 times a week. The holiday resort is usually 24h/24h monitored by the security service. The reception is open until 16 o'clock. The staff is very friendly and can help you to plan your holiday.

Gastronomy
If you book at Domaine des Alizées, you don't need to worry about food. The complex has a restaurant opened all day long and with good local pricing.
If you prefer the freedom of a self-catered holiday you can enjoy the facilities of the very well equipped kitchens.

The resort has 3 categories of units :
1 Bedroom Suite - 72 m² - 2 people - double bed - 1 bathroom
2 Bedroom Suite - 83 m² - 4 people - 1 double and 2 single beds - 2 bathrooms
Penthouse 3 bedrooms – 115 m² - 6 people - 2 double and 2 single beds - 2 bathrooms.

All apartments have the same modern equipment with an open kitchen, a dining / living room and a large terrace. All rooms have air conditioning and there are also additional comforts such as free Internet connection, LCD satellite TV.
The master bedroom in each apartment has an en suite bathroom with stunning views from the bathtub. As a special feature, the penthouse has its own private Jacuzzi on its terrace. The apartments are spacious and well equipped, therefore a perfect choice for groups of 2, 4 or 6 people looking for a relaxing holiday.

Sports / Entertainment
Besides the spa, Domaine des Alizées offers also a fitness club. Guests who want to take a diving class can find several schools in Grand Bay. Or if you want to go on a trip around the island Grand Bay is generally one of the best touristic spot where you can book daytrips.
